My name is Jaime Dias Delgado (he/they) and I am a clinical social worker, educator and mentor with a passion for helping people hold multiple complexities at once.
I am a trauma therapist with over 20 years experience working with children, families, individuals, and organizations. I started out as a classical theater actor and singer and transitioned to a career in social work after seeing the inequity in our school systems during a national tour. I received an MSW from Fordham University and subsequently worked in professional-level foster care, intimate partner violence support, youth gender and sexuality education, anti-oppression education and advocacy, elementary school education, conflict resolution, curriculum development and student accessibility initiatives. I am a trained MDMA(methylenedioxy-methamphetamine/psychedelic)-assisted therapist, National SEED (Seeking Educational Equity & Diversity) facilitator, and certified Waldorf elementary educator.
I founded this practice after coming through my own journey integrating gender, race, sexuality, complex trauma and chronic illness. My lived experience informs my work as much as my professional training. In this practice, I have created the resources that I needed in the past, but could not find.
"Theory is cool, but theory without practice ain't shit!"
