Psychotherapeutic relationships require increased vulnerability on the part of the client in order to see improvement in well-being. In psychotherapy, we identify clinically significant patterns, which sometimes include mental health diagnoses. These factors give psychotherapists greatly disproportionate relational power with their clinical clients. We bill your insurance for these services if we are in-network. We provide Superbills for out-of-network clients.

Mentoring relationships are specifically designed to avoid the power differentials that occur in the psychotherapy relationship. In such a relationship, there is more choice around the type and level of vulnerability that the client brings to each session.The relationship is designed to be more direct and challenging. Mentoring services are all self-pay. We do offer sliding scale rates.

At Sodade Revival, both mentoring and psychotherapy are client-centered. Both services are carried with the same level of integrity and care. If you are unsure which service is best suited to your needs, we can determine that together during your intake session.

Psychedelic experiences have long been used to aid in individual and community growth. As people access these medicines through their prescribing doctors, clinics, or spiritual practitioners, they sometimes find the need to integrate their experiences into their daily lives. I can provide this service as well as referrals for safe, legal access to psychedelic prescribers in your area.

Clinical services are offered in the state of Illinois, per clinical licensure parameters. Non-clinical services, including mentor services, are provided world-wide.

Currently, Sodade Revival provides all services via telehealth or Zoom. Chicago-based organizations can arrange for in-person services depending on Covid-19 safety protocols.
